ATC hands over BB murder case report to LHC

Sunday, September 23, 2012 - Rawalpindi—The special Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) of Rawalpindi Saturday sent the report of Benazir Bhutto murder case to Lahore High Court (LHC) Rawalpindi bench.

It should be mentioned that at least 37 cases of terrorism including Benazir Bhutto murder case were under hearing in special anti-terrorism court of Rawalpindi.

Due to burden of a number of cases trial of BB murder case has not been completed yet.

Meanwhile, Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has also written to the LHC Rawalpindi bench for hearing of BB murder case on daily basis and it had summoned report of the said case from the ATC. The ATC complying with the LHC directives handed over the report.—INP
