Christians’ demonstrate against blasphemous movie


Friday, September 21, 2012 - Lahore—Inter-faith Harmony Peace Society chairman Kamran Mical has said all minorities, including the Christians and Hindus, are with the Muslims on the issue of blasphemous movie.

He was addressing a protest demonstration organized by the christian community against the anti-Islam movie held here at the Cheering Cross on Thursday.

A large number of people participated in the protest and they were carrying banners and placards inscribed with different slogans against the movie makers.

Kamran Mical said they had gathered to deliver a message to the United States that all minorities in Pakistan were united with the Muslim brothers. He said the US pastor had no religion and demanded that the accused should be hanged. Expressing solidarity with Muslims, MNA Dr Darshan Lal said the Hindu community was with the Muslims.—APP
