Nanbais increase roti price


Friday, September 21, 2012 - Rawalpindi—Citing raise in the cost of flour, Nanbai Association Rawalpindi has increased the price of bread and paratha (roghani naan).

Nanbais also increased price of paratha by Rs2, citing increase in price of ghee, oil, sugar and fine wheat for it Bakaries and tandoor owners are of the view that this nominal increase has been made due to rising price of fuel and raw material.

Nanbai Association Rawalpindi said that it was not possible for them to sell roti on the old price at Rs6 as inflation has surged manifold.

Moreover, they submitted an application to District Coordination Officer Saqib Zaffar to increase price of ‘patiri roti’ to Rs7.—INP
