Construction banned in G-14, G-15 for two months

Saturday, September 15, 2012 - Islamabad—Sub-Divisional Magistrate Sadar Islamabad, Waqas Rashid has banned construction of buildings in G-14 and G-15 sectors of the federal capital for two months.

He also banned taking building material to G-14/1, 2, 3 and G-15 areas under Section 144 with effect from today (Saturday). Legal action would be taken against the lawbreakers, reads the order.

According to the order, the land of the sectors is acquired for the housing schemes of the Government Employees Housing Foundation and construction of houses and huts or modification in buildings in the area to increase property prices is against the law, thus would be punished.—INP
