Ulema urged to create awareness about dengue

Thursday, August 30, 2012 - Lahore—Punjab Auqaf Minister Haji Ehsan- ud-Din Qureshi has urged the ulema to play their role for creating awareness among the people regarding dengue virus.

According to a handout issued here on Wednesday, he asked the ulema to teach the people regarding cleanliness of atmosphere in their respective areas to avoid dengue mosquito, fever and other viral diseases.

Speaking to delegation of doctors, labourers and ulema, Haji Ehsan-ud-Din Qureshi said that during last year elected representatives played a commendable role in promoting public awareness against dengue.

He also urged all segment of the society to sensitize the people especially labour classes about preventive measures against dengue.—APP
