Private bank gutted in fire

Thursday, August 30, 2012 - Karachi—Fire broke out at a private bank branch situated at Jodia Bazar area of the city on Wednesday. Police sources said that the fire broke out suddenly and immediately engulfed the bank and the building.

The building was evacuated soon after the fire broke out. Fire brigade team was called in which extinguished the fire. It is believed that short-circuit caused the fire.—INP
