PEF distributes Eid gifts


Monday, August 20, 2012 - Lahore—The Punjab Education Foundation has distributed Eid gifts among girl students and their mothers of a school partnered with the PEF under its New School Programme (NSP) in Ghang Sharif Village near Kahna on Ferozpur Road.

Addressing the ceremony, PEF Deputy Director (Communication) Ms. Aruj Salman said the foundation was earnestly working to encourage the low strata to send their children to PEF partner schools for having an easy access to education. She said, “Eid gifts are a small gesture to give the message of love and affection to the students that PEF is equally sharing the joys and happiness of its students’ community and their families.”

PEF Deputy Director (NSP) Hassan Javed said that more than 55,000 students were getting free education under NSP in 36 districts through 419 partner schools in Punjab.—APP
