Four bootleggers arrested with 650 bottles of liquor

Monday, August 20, 2012 - Islamabad—Nilore police on Sunday arrested four bootleggers and recovered a total of 650 bottles of liquor as well as weapons from their possession.

According to a police spokesman, a Nilore police team conducted combing in its respective areas and arrested Fida, resident of Bhagwal, for having 150 bottles of liquor, 27 cans of beer and one repeater from him.

Meanwhile, two other bootleggers identified as Arshad and Zafaran alias Fani, residents of Charaha, were arrested for having 250 bottles of liquor. Similarly, another person identified as Saparas alias Kodu was arrested and 250 bottles of liquor were recovered from him.

Nilore police also conducted search operation in its respective jurisdiction and checked several houses and 100 persons.—APP
