Enemies of Pakistan

Dr Saifur Rehman

Saturday, August 18, 2012 - This is with reference to news report, PAF Minhas airbase at Kamra. The Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) , spokesman Ehsan claimed the militant organisation had carried out the attack “to avenge the deaths of Osama bin Laden, the TTP Amir Baitullah Mehsud and other fighters who had been killed by the Pakistani security forces.” . Words can’t express how saddened I am to know about this deadly attack. According to Gregorian calendar, Just 14 hours after independence day of my love my life my everything my beloved homeland Pakistan, enemies of Pakistan and Islam attacked on Pakistan.

According to hijri calendar Pakistan came into being on 27th of Ramazan in year 1366 A.H. it means they attacked Pakistan on independence day of Pakistan. Timing of this attack is clear message to us that Al-Qaeda and all other groups which are self-proclaimed Islamists, are worst and fierce enemies of Pakistan This is not an ordinary thing, we cannot close our eyes and remain silent over this issue. We have been fighting war on terror for one decade and our political leaders, military jawans, media personnel, journalists and every section of society and people of all walk of life have contributed their matchless sacrifices against terrorism.

This attack is reminder for us that they want destruction of Pakistan and we patriot Pakistanis should be merciless for enemies of our beloved homeland. No mercy at all. People like Imran khan and others who have soft corner for these deadly enemies of Pakistan, should open their eyes that this is the war of Pakistan. Actually, people like Imran khan are are continuously demoralizing our institutions and some sections of media also supporting their mantras. I openly challenge all other Taliban and Al-Qaeda apologists that they wrong when they support Taliban and Al-Qaeda and defend these groups in their speeches and interviews.

I ask them on which standards they have been defending Taliban and Al-Qaeda since 2001. Are they not able to see suicide attacks by Taliban and Al-Qaeda in Pakistan, thousands of Pakistanis have been killed. Please don’t disown nation’s sacrifices against terrorism. Pakistan has sacrificed more than any nation in the world for peace in the world. Taliban and Al-Qaeda apologists might be happy with this attack on Pakistan, but one thing they will learn with passage of time that Pakistan’s next generation will be paralyzed nation, if they still remain hell bent to support these militant groups.
