Govt using all resources for masses welfare
The Minister expressed these views while talking to complainants at an Open Kutchery held to solve problems of the people, at Minar-e-Pakistan, Friday. Members National and Provincial Assembly, Muslim League workers, authorized officers of Health, Education, Police, LDA, WASA, Local Government, Community Development, Board of Revenue and other departments were also present, alongwith men and women, in a large number who had come from the Lahore city and its adjoining areas.
Malik Ahmad Ali said that Punjab Government has launched revolutionary programmes, worth billions of rupees, to raise standard of living of the masses. He said, with the introduction of development projects like Green Tractor Scheme, Laptops, Self Employment Scheme, provision of buses for colleges, and installation of solar panel and bio-gas pilot projects, the province would achieve progress, prosperity and growth. He said the development projects, launched by Punjab Government, have been greatly appreciated, while the other provinces are also following in its footsteps.
The Minister said that as a result of inequitable loadshedding, the industry in Punjab has been destroyed, rendering lacs of people unemployed. He said development of agriculture and industrial sector forms the backbone of the national economy, and any kind of damage to them is not in the interest of national progress and prosperity.
