Saturday, August 04, 2012 - Larkana—MNA Faryal Talpur chaired a meeting of officials of SEPCO (WAPDA) Larkana regarding resolution of load-shedding issue here. Chief Executive of SEPCO, Commissioner Larkana Division Dr Saeed Ahmed Magnejo, Deputy Commissioner Larkana Abdul Aleem Lashari, Superintendent Engineer SEPCO, concerned Executive Engineers and other officials were present in meeting. On the occasion MNA Faryal Talpur directed SEPCO Chief to address the problems of local people on priority basis and provide relief to commonmen. Chief Engineer SEPCO briefed that 20 new transformers have been replaced in District Kamber Shahdadkot and Larkana District during last one month. He also said that more transformers will be installed in consultation with notables of the area. He informed 6 schemes out of 15 have been completed while the rest of will be accomplished very soon. He informed that the work for the up-gradation of 66 KV and 132 KV would also completed within the stipulated time in 18 month. SEPCO Chief apprised that a workshop would be established at Larkana for the repairing of burnt transformers and facilitation of consumers. It was decided in meeting that SEPCO Authorities along-with District Administration Larkana will hold the open katchehry for resolving the problems of over reading, detection bills, illegal fines and other issues. On the occasion Chief Executive told that 5 transformers of 200 KV and 10 of 100 KV will be provided to Naudero City in order to put end the load-shedding and tripping. He informed that SEPCO Larkana will provide the 7 new transformers to CMC Hospital Larkana within two days.
