Loadshedding free sehr and iftar demanded

Staff Reporter

Monday, July 30, 2012 - Rawalpindi—Expressing concerns over power outages at sehr and iftar, the Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) has demanded immediate end to loadshedding in the holy month of Ramazan. RCCI president Javed Akhtar Bhatti deplored the sitting PPP government led by Zardari for failing to honour its commitment to end loadshedding at sehr and iftar during the holy month of Ramazan. He said that loadshedding up to 10 hours in urban areas even with presence of 14,000 megawatts in the system was beyond comprehension.
