Technical education stressed
Saturday, July 21, 2012 - Multan—The manufacturing sector across the world needs skilled manpower and Pakistan can avail the opportunity by promoting technical education to attract foreign exchange worth billions of dollars. Multan Zonal Manager Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority (Tevta) Naazir Khan Niazi told newsmen here Friday that demand for skilled manpower from across the world particularly the Middle East countries was high and was not being met in accordance with specifications attached.
“Mostly unskilled workers are going abroad which can hurt the confidence of foreign countries in Pakistani skilled manpower,” he added. Naazir Niazi said commercial attaches in foreign countries could play a dynamic role.—APP
