Rana asks Zardari to return looted money

Saturday, July 21, 2012 - Lahore—Punjab Minister for Law Rana Sanaullah Khan on Friday advised President Asif Ali Zardari to seek pardon of his sins during the holy month of Ramadan and return looted public money to be spent on the welfare of the poor masses.

Commenting on Rehman Malik’s statement, Rana advised the interior minister to stop making hollow claims and take concrete steps to eradicate the menace of target killings in Karachi and to improve the over all law and order situation in the country.

Rana said that Rehman Malik was a liar and he could not believe on his assertion, adding that PPP leaders are in the habit of leveling allegations on others to hide their corruption.

He said that Malik was right to say that the days of accountability of looters of national wealth are nearer.—INP
