Prices reduced by Rs.5 to 22 at Utility Stores: Minister


Saturday, July 21, 2012 - Karachi—Federal Minister for Inter-Provincial Coordination Mir Hazar Khan Bijarani Friday said the middle class people will benefit from the subsidy given at Utility Stores across the country.

Talking to media at the inauguration of Ramazan Package at a Utility Store located in the city area of Defence, he said the people hailing from the middle class are being afforded relief under Ramazan Package and an attempt is being made that shoppers do not face any trouble while buying at any of the retailer stores run by the government.

“The government is making efforts that no chaos is created for the buyers at the stores,” he further said.



The federal minister said people hailing from the low-paid class can benefit from this package, adding the prices of over 600 essential commodities have been slashed with reduction of Rs. 5 to 22. —NNI
