Father strangles daughter to death in Karachi

Saturday, July 21, 2012 - Karachi —A man strangled his daughter to death as she went back to her ex-husband in North Nazimabad, media reports on Friday. According to police sources, Dilbar Khan strangled his daughter Muqadas as she went back to her ex-husband.

Eight years ago Muqadas got married with Hameed.

After four years of the marriage, they divorced and remained living separately. Few days ago relatives wanted to get Muqadas married again.

In this condition, she left home and went back to her ex-husband in Gulshan-e-Maymar. Her father took her back home assuring her that her choice would be preferred but he strangled her to death.

Her body was taken to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital where it was confirmed that she was strangled to death.—Online
