MIF to distribute Ramazan food packs


Saturday, July 21, 2012 - Islamabad—Muslim International NGOs Forum (MIF) Pakistan on Friday announced that they would jointly utilize their funds to distribute Ramazan food packs among the deserving families during holy month of Ramazan across the country.

Addressing a press conference here at National Press Club (NPC), Chairman MIF Khubaib A. Wahidi, flanked by other members of MIF, said that deserving people will benefit from these food packs, which would contain enough supplies for one month for a family of 6-8 members. He said that the food packs contain dates, flour, lentils, cooking oil, sugar, tea and milk.

He said that all Muslim INGOs in Pakistan are uniting to work together to deliver better and the experience of working together has proven to be successful. He said MIF aims to support and help build communities, especially those which were affected by calamities like 2010 floods.—APP
