Sehwan Sharif devotees bodies reach home

Monday, July 16, 2012 - Hafizabad—Dead bodies of nine devotees including two women, who went to Sehwan Sharif to pay homage to renowned saint Lall Shahbaz Qalan-dar, who died in a road mishap near Jampur Saturday afternoon have been reached to their villages.

According to details, Allama Qari Ab-dul Majeed Rizvi of Jamaat Ahle Sun-nat alongwith thirty nine disciples of Hazarat Lall Shahbaz Qalander, pro-ceeded to Sehwan Sharif to pay their homage in a hired bus last Friday.

After paying their tributes to the Saint, they were returning to their homes, but when the bus reached near Jampur on Saturday afternoon a speeding truck coming from opposite direction col-lided head-on with the bus as a result of which nine persons were killed on the spot while thirty other were seri-ously injured and were removed to D.G. Khan, Multan and other hospitals. The bus was badly smashed. Those who died in the mishap included Al-lama Qari Abdul Majeed Rizvi, drive Ali Akbar his mother Khalida Bibi, Ghulam Nabi Gujjar, Ahsan Ullah, Muhammad Riaz and Zubeda Bibi. —APP
