Partly cloudy weather forecast

Monday, July 16, 2012 - Islamabad—The Kara-chi Met office has forecast a partly cloudy/cloudy and windy weather with chances of light rain/drizzle in the metropolis for next 24 hours. The maximum tempera-ture will remain in the range of 32 to 34 degrees celsius.

While, the Lahore Met office on Sunday forecast partly cloudy weather with chances of thunderstorm for the city during the next 24 hours. On Sunday, maximum temperature was recorded at 34C and minimum 30C re-spectively.

Humidity was recorded at 65.9 per cent at 8.00am and 67 per cent at 5.00 pm while the city received 3mm to 7mm rain. Meanwhile, the Multan Met office forecast partly cloudy weather with chances of thunderstorm and rain for city and its suburbs dur-ing the next 24 hours. On Sunday, maximum temperature was recorded at 36.2C and minimum 29.9C respectively.

Humidity was recorded at 67 per cent at 8.00 am and 63 per cent at 5.00 pm.

Weather has turned pleasant in most parts of the country espe-cially in Punjab including Lahore as it received heavy rain. Several areas of Punjab are likely to receive more rainfall on Sunday evening, a private tv channel reported.

Maximum rain was re-corded as 22 millimeter in Saidu Sharif whereas 20 in Khanpur, 16 in Kakol, 14 in Mangla, 13 in Balakot, and 4 millimeter of rain was re-corded in Murree, Gujran-wala, Islamabad and Muzaffarabad in last 12 hours.— APP
