Rasool Park tragedy Another injured expires

Monday, July 16, 2012 - Lahore—Death toll of Rasool Park tragedy mounts to 10 as another injured person succumbed to his wounds in hospital on Sunday.

It should be mentioned that nine jail personnel hailing from Khyber Pakhtunkhawa province who were staying in a house in Rasool Park area of Ichra, Lahore for training, were killed and eight others injured when unknown militants attacked the house on early Thursday morning.

The injured were under treatment at hospital where Yasir Maroof, 25, succumbed to his wound on Sunday morning raising the death toll to ten.

The deceased was father to two children and he belonged to Mirpur area of Azad Jammu and Kashmir.—INP
