Blue Area to get water filtration plant: Farkhand

Monday, July 16, 2012 - Islamabad—Striving to provide facilities to traders, Capital Development Authority (CDA) chairman engineer Farkhand Iqbal has said that water and parking problems of Blue area would be redressed on priority basis. During a visit to Blue Area, Engineer Farkhand Iqbal said the civic body would try its best to provide facilities to traders, particularly in the Blue Area of the federal capital.

He said that the filtration plant and public toilets would be constructed in collaboration with private sector in important trading area of the capital. “Filtration plants would ensure provision of clean drinking water to the traders in Blue Area,” he added.—INP
