ITP officials get first aid kits to tackle road emergencies

Monday, July 16, 2012 - Islamabad—First aid kits have been distributed among Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) officials after the conclusion of the first aid course arranged for them to tackle any emergency on roads in an effective manner.

It was the 46th course arranged by ICTAP with the purpose to provide training to police officials for effective handling of any emergency on roads and saving lives of people through providing first aid to them, a police spokesman said.

Acting SSP ( Traffic) Mir Vaiz Niaz attended the concluding ceremony of this course and said that 116 officials from Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) have passed out this course in various phases.

He hoped that these courses will make the personnel ‘professionally sound’ and bring further positive change among them to accomplish duties in a responsible manner.—APP
