Countering western propaganda

Monday, July 16, 2012 - According to media news OIC (Organization of Islamic Countries) is planning to launch new private TV channel to counter propaganda campaign against Muslim world. Since long time big powers are controlling media and using it for their propaganda purpose. Several famous channels have large resources and huge amount of budget and playing vital role in media campaign against Muslim world.

In case of any terrorist activity around the world these famous TV channels immediately start their propaganda machinery against Muslims without any proof and further investigations. Unfortunately some sources in west are widely using media to develop hate against Muslims. Several top TV channels in west are sitting silent over killing of innocent people in Pakistan, Myanmar, Afghanistan and worse drought in Somalia.

Due to negative media campaign Islamic Phobia is on the rise in west now media war, hated laws and humiliated behavior against Muslims has become routine in several countries which called themselves champions of human rights. Due to less presence in media and lack of media awareness Muslim countries are not able to counter this type of propaganda. Now establishment of new TV channel is crying need of the day. OIC should work hard to use all resources and best talent for this purpose.
