DeM holds conference for children
Wednesday, July 11, 2012 - Srinagar—Dukhtaran-e-Millat (DeM) held a conference for children in which stress was laid on the moral upliftment and responsibilities of parents towards their kids. “
This conference gave us a chance to test the capacities and, moral and religious values of our children. Through such conferences we may judge where our children stand,” the DeM chairperson Asiya Andrabi said.
She stressed on the group members that they should focus on the all round development of their children. “Our kids should excel in every field but they should not divert from the principles of Islam,” Andrabi said.
The young participants presented their speech on different topics and bagged prizes for top positions.
On the occasion Tanzila Taranum and Huzaif Shabir, the kids of the slain militants, were chief guests. — NNI
