Musharraf to return after polls announcement

Tuesday, July 10, 2012 - London—Former President and All Pakistan Muslim League (APML) chief Pervez Musharraf has said that future of Pakistan is linked with free and fair general elections as it is the only guarantee to take the country out of prevailing crises.

Addressing a meeting of APML in London on Monday, Pervez Musharraf said that for development and getting rid of issue confronting the sovereignty and stability of country, people would have to elect the honest and sincere leadership in general elections.

He claimed that after the schedule of upcoming general elections was announced, he (Musharraf) would return home without caring about threats to his life.

The APML chief said that after coming into power his party would ensure peace, rule of law, employment and provision of free and instant justice to common man.—INP
