Shab-i-Barat to be celebrated tonight
Thursday, July 05, 2012 - Karachi—‘Shab-i-Barat’- the Night of Salvation’ will be celebrated on July 5.The faithfuls will worship, offer special prayers and ‘Nuafils’ on the occasion.
They would also visit the graves of their near and the dear ones to offer Fateha.
The Sindh Minister for Religious Affairs, Abdul Haseeb, has directed that the graveyards should be cleansed of the weeds and cleanliness be maintained so that the visitors could not face any inconvenience. He further instructed that arrangements be made for proper illumination at the graveyard.
The Minister also called for cleanliness at the mosques and Imambargahs.—APP
