JUI not to oppose restoration of NATO supply: Fazl

Thursday, July 05, 2012 - Karachi—Chairman National Assembly Kashmir Committee and Chief of Jamiat Ulama-e-Islam, Maulana Fazl-ur-Rahman, has said that his party would not resist the restoration of NATO supply.

Talking to media persons here, the JUI chief said that NATO supply has been restored on the pretext of accepting an excuse as sorry. If the government lacked the courage to close the NATO supply line they should not had prolonged the issue, he said adding that the people could not be satisfied with such antics. Pakistan is a party to the massacre of the Afghan Muslims along with the US and the NATO forces, he added. He also expressed concerns at dual nationality of the parliamentarians and added that the matter about writing letter to Swiss authorities is between the court and the Peoples Party. If the prime minister does not write the letter the court has to ponder over it, he added.—NNI
