Oil Tanker owners welcome NATO route reopening
Welcoming the resumption of NATO supply route the Tanker’s owners called the US apology over the Salala incident as Pak Army victory, adding that the US apology increased the country’s dignity. Although the livelihood of hundreds of people, including drivers, conductors and labors linked with NATO supply route but all of them preferred the country’s interest to their personal one, they added.
Announcement regarding the reopening of NATO route after the US said sorry over the brutal attack on Salala check post spread wave of amusement amongst the community associated with NATO supply, including owners, drivers and conductors of tankers, trucks and trailers.
Meanwhile, the drivers and conductors said that they faced immense problems during the days when the NATO supply route was closed but now their business would restart again.
According to sources, 3000 out of 5000 oil takers are not available for shipment due to technical problems while 2000 oil tankers are ready for shipment at Karachi.—Online
