Imran, other PTI leaders to declare assets

Thursday, July 05, 2012 - Lahore—In a move to prove that their hands were clean of corruption, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan and other prominent leaders will be declaring their assets during July. “The leaders are likely to upload their assets details on the official website of PTI,” party sources revealed.

Key figures including Javed Hashmi, Shah Mahmud Qureshi, Shafqat Mahmud, Jahangir Tareen have been sending their details to party secretary general Arif Alvi.

In the first phase, members of Political Strategic Committee and Central Executive Committee would send their details which would be uploaded on the party website.In the second phase, all interested candidates who would request for party tickets will make their assets public.—INP
