Saturday, June 30, 2012 - peshawar—As the naked aggression across the border continued unabated in Upper Dir district, a group of Afghan militants launched yet another attack on the security forces check post Friday morning which was effectively repulsed by the Pakistani security forces which in a retaliatory fire mowed down at least six intruders.

On the other hand a bloody clash between the insurgents and the security forces in Hangu resulted in injuries to four security personnels. However, the forces also gunned down seven miscreants.

The militants from the neighbouring Afghanistan, it may be recalled, have been crossing into Pakistani territory at Dir Balaa (Upper Dir) area for the last more than a week and the bloody clashes between the intruders from the neighbouring country at a border town in Upper Dir district on Monday last ultimately resulted in martyrdom of at least seventeen Pakistani troops with seven of them beheaded by the Afghani miscreants.

Though the Military authorities as well as the Pakistani government lodged strong protest with the Afghan government over this naked aggression asking them to check the ambushes launched by the miscreants from their safe heavens inside Afghanistan.
