PML-N ensuring economic uplift of masses

Saturday, June 30, 2012 - Rawalpindi—Provincial Minister for Agriculture, Malik Ahmad Ali has said that on the instructions of Khadim-e-Punjab, PML-N is implementing its public service programme by solving problems of the people through open katcheries.
He expressed these views while talking to the journalists in the open katchery held at Minar-e-Pakistan here today. Member National Assembly Pervaiz Malik, Member Provincial Assembly, Arifa Khalid, officers of Health, Education, Police, LDA, WASA, Local Government Community Development, Board of Revenue and other departments as well as a large number of citizens from Lahore City and its adjoining areas was present on the occasion.
Provincial Minister Malik Ahmad Ali informed that no highhandedness with the citizens will be tolerated and we will go to every extent for its redressal. He said that government of Muslim League-N is serious to provide basic amenities to the people and resolution of their problems and will spare no effort in this regard.
He directed the officers that will have to serve the people as their servant and those officers creating hurdles in the way of provision of basic facilities to the people will not be spared. He informed that with the holding of this open katchery the process of holding open katcharies daily on Minar-e-Pakistan has started which will be continued.
He said that Provincial Ministers, elected National and Provincial Members and officers of different departments will remain present for the public service in these katcheries and the Ministers will issue on the spot orders to the officers present for solving individual and collectives problems of the people. The Minister said that people should come to the open katcheries without any fear and hesitation and no stone will be left unturned for the redressal of their grievances.
