Two killed in road accident

Monday, June 25, 2012 - Lahore—At least two persons were killed and another injured when a tractor trolley hit a motorcycle here on Sunday.

According to police, a reckless driven over speeding tractor trolley hit a motorcycle carrying three persons near Batapur area of Lahore.

Two persons identified as Karamat and Akbar, hailing from Bhagwanpura, were killed on the spot while their companion Qasim sustained serious wounds.

The bodies and injured were shifted to General Hospital Lahore, where according to hospital sources, condition of the injured was also serious.

The police took the tractor trolley in to custody and arrested the driver.—INP
