Education Department to upgrade schools

Monday, June 25, 2012 - Rawalpindi—Various schools of the Rawalpindi district would be upgraded during new fiscal year while boys and girls primary schools located at distance of furlong would be merged into single.

The headmaster and headmistress vacancies would be filled in all the schools of the district while new teachers would be inducted in schools where seats of science and arts teachers are laying vacant.

Sources said that induction of new educators would be completed during summer vacations.

Moreover, upgardation of the schools would be completed in next three months and female teachers would teach in all merged boys and girls’ school.

Education Department Rawalpindi has started preparation of list of schools to be upgraded and one high school each for boys and girls in thickly populated areas, union councils was declared mandatory.—INP
