Three SC benches to hear important cases this week

Monday, June 25, 2012 - Islamabad—The Supreme Court will hear several important cases during the week beginning from today(Monday). According to the Cause List three benches have been formed by the Chief Justice for the week.

A three member bench headed by Chief Justice Iftikhar Mohammad Chaudhry and comprising Justice Jawad S Khawaja and Justice Khilji Arif Hussain would hear the Lal Masjid,Bank of Punjab, Haj corruption and NRO implementation cases

Bench Number two would consist of Justice Nasirul Malik, Justice Justice Arif Saeed Khan Khosa and Justice Sheikh Azmat Saeed while bench number three comprises of Justice Ijaz Afzal Khan, and Justice Mohammad Athar Saeed.

Contempt case against real estate tycoon Malik Riaz will also be heard during the week.—INP
