Fouzia’s untimely death creates void in parliament

Wednesday, June 20, 2012 - Islamabad—omen’s Parliamentary Caucus (WPC) on Tuesday said the untimely death of Member of National Assembly (MNA)), Fouzia Wahab has created a void in the parliament.

Women Parliamentarians from all political parties, especially Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N), MQM, Awami National Party (ANP) and JUI-F have expressed their deep grief on her sad demise and termed it as a great loss to the national politics.

Speaker Dr. Fehmida Mirza, Secretary WPC, Dr. Nafisa Shah on behalf of all women parliamentarians paid a tribute to brave women.Late Fauzia was a sincere worker who represented middle class of the country and with her sheer hard work and determination paved her way up to the parliament.—Online
