Interior Secretary offers Rangers’ services to Punjab Govt

Wednesday, June 20, 2012 - Islamabad—Federal Interior Secretary on the direction of Advisor on Interior Rehman Malik has written a letter to Punjab government that it has failed to protect the life and property of the people.In the letter, the federal government has offered the services of Rangers to assist the local police in Punjab.The Advisor on Interior has also directed the Interior Secretary of meet Chief Secretary Punjab for deployment of Rangers. —INP
