SSGC joins hands with Nokia
SSGC’s Dy. Managing Director (Corporate Services) Zuhair Siddiqui speaking on the occasion said that as a country’s premier utility company, SSGC continuously strives to expand its reach in facilitating its valuable customers. Giving his views on this new partnership Mr. Siddiqui said that majority of Pakistanis use Nokia phones for their mobile communication needs which made it easier for SSGC to offer these services by capitalizing on Nokia’s popularity in the market. Our customer service will now be available on select Nokia phones for easy information access and better service experience, he said. We also seek to enhance our service offerings in near future, with particular focus on online payment solutions, Mr. Siddiqui added.
Commenting on the agreement, Arif Shafique, GM, Nokia Pakistan and Afghanistan said, “Nokia is committed to ‘connecting the next billion’ by offering mobile services in Pakistan that will complement their lifestyle and add a new level of convenience in their lives. This is the gap that Nokia aims to fill with its alliance with SSGC as this new partnership will bring variety of SSGC customer services to Nokia users right on their mobile screens so that they can get instant access to the relevant customer information as and when they please.” Mr. Arif also informed, “Nokia users would be able to download SSGC services from Nokia Store on compatible Nokia devices and with partnerships such as these, Nokia aims to provide well-rounded mobile solutions and open new doors of opportunities for Pakistani mobile phone users.”
The signing ceremony was witnessed by SSGC’s Chief Technology Innovation Officer, Mr. Irfan Zafar and Manager Valued-added Services, Mr. Mazhar Usman, whereas NOKIA was represented by its Head of PR and Communications, Mr. Adeel Hashmi and Solution Manager (Near East), Ms. Rabia Azfar.
