Ten extremists killed; Army Cobra copter crashes

Besides Brigadier Mudassar, one Major and a Lieutenant among the search party were wounded who were shifted to hospital. Among those martyred also included pilots Major Mudassar and Captain Asim.
Sources said that after this, security forces immediately surrounded the entire area and started a full clean-up operation in which helicopters of Pakistan Army Aviation also took part.
So far 10 extremists have been reported to have been killed, while many have been reported as injured. Till last incoming reports heavy battle was raging in the valley. An earlier report said, a gunship helicopter of Pakistan Army crashed in Terah Valley of Khaiber Agency due to technical fault. A pilot and a gunman were martyred in the incident.
Director General ISPR Major General Athar Abbas while talking to a mediamen Wednesday said that a gunship helicopter of Army crashed due to technical problem. The pilot of the helicopter and a gunman were killed in the accident.
