Women urged to unite for their rights
She said this while addressing a seminar “Current Change and Muslim Women” organized by Women and Family Commission Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan held here at Mansoora.
Addressing the participants, Justice (R) Nasira Javed Iqbal stressed the need to restore the social status of women in order to pull the country out of crises.
She said that women were 60 per cent of the total population of the country but they were deprived of basic education and health facilities.
Mrs. Qazi Hussain Ahmed, Afia Sarwar, Nabeera Naeemi, Musarrat Misbah, Aamna Mujtaba, Saba Sadiq, Ghazala Saad Rariq, Aamna Ulfat, Khalida Jameel, Mehnaz Rafi, Rubeena Shaheen Watto also addressed the seminar.
President Women and Family Commission Jamaat e Islami Pakistan, Dr. Samiha Raheel Qazi said the women were united and ready to play their due role for protection of their rights.
