‘PPP working for country’s prosperity’

Friday, March 23, 2012 - Lahore—Pakistan Peoples Party Lahore President and Federal Minister Samina Khalid Ghurki has said that PPP-led government under the leadership of President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani had taken several steps for prosperity of the country.

According to a press statement issued here, she said some non-democratic factors were trying to bring the people on the roads against the democratic government for their personal benefits. She urged the PPP workers to keep eye on such elements who were conspiring against an elected popular government and turn their aims down. PPP Lahore Information secretary Abid Siddiqui in a separate statement said the government was working across the country.—APP
