Some thoughts to mull on..!

Monday, February 27, 2012 - Thought I’d leave you today with some thoughts to mull one: Prayer is not a “spare wheel” that you pull out when in trouble; it is a “steering wheel” that directs us in the right path throughout life! Do you know why a car’s windshield is so large and the rear view mirror so small? Because our past is not as important as our future. So, look ahead and move on. Friendship is like a book. It takes few seconds to burn, but it takes years to write! All things in life are temporary. If going well enjoy it, they will not last forever. If going wrong don’t worry, they can’t last long either! Old friends are like Gold!
New friends are Diamonds! If you get a Diamond, don’t forget the Gold! Because to hold a Diamond, you always need a base of Gold! Often when we lose hope and think this is the end, GOD smiles from above and says, “Relax, my child, it’s just a bend, not the end! When GOD solves your problems, you have faith in HIS abilities; when GOD doesn’t solve your problems HE has faith in your abilities! A blindperson asked: “Can there be anything worse than losing eye sight?” Pat came the reply: “Yes, losing your vision.” When you pray for others, God listens to you and blesses them; and sometimes, when you are safe and happy, remember that someone has prayed for you. WORRYING does not take away tomorrow’s TROUBLES; it takes away today’s PEACE. We are what we think. All that we are arises with our thoughts. With our thoughts, we make the world.”
To live a pure unselfish life, one must count nothing as one’s own in the midst of abundance! He is able who thinks he is able! It is a man’s own mind, not his enemy or foe, that lures him to evil ways! We will be known forever by the tracks we leave! An insincere and evil friend is more to be feared than a wild beast: a wild beast may wound your body ,but an evil friend will wound your mind.” The secret to finding something is knowing where to look!
To conquer oneself is the noblest and greatest triumph. Nothing happens unless first you dream. And here’s a last thought: A racehorse that consistently runs just a second faster than another horse is worth millions of rupees more, so be willing to give that extra effort that separates the winner from the one in second place..!
