Imran meets business industry leaders

Sunday, December 25, 2011 - Karachi—Tehreek-e-Insaf chief Imran Khan, had a very successful meeting with top traders, industry, and business leaders of Karachi at a dinner hosted by former chief of the Karachi chambers of commerce and industry in Karachi Friday night

Among those present were former presidents of the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) S M Muneer, former FPCCi and Saarc chambers of commerce and industry chief, Tariq Sayeed, leading stock market boss and banker Arif Habib, Mian Zahid Hussain, former chairman of the SITE association of trade and industry Zakaria Usman, leading stock market leader Ghani Usman, former chiefs of the KCCI and even president of the Lahore Chambers of commerce and industry, and many others

Also present were the PTi secretary general Dr Arif Alvi, and the Sindh party president Naeemul Haq. With Imran Khan were Shah Mahmood Qureshi, Shafqat Mahmood,and many others former ministers and parliamentarians who have recently joined him, and are in Karachi for Imran’s rally at the Quaid’es mazar on Sunday 25th December.

Intimate discussion took place during which Imran assured the trade and industry, bankers etc that on coming to power, he will be guided by the policies and perceptions of the business leaders. Later Imran also addressed the gathering. He spent hectic days in Karachi, visiting various places, and meeting people.
