Staff ReporterTuesday, August 30, 2011 - Rawalpindi—Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif says under Yellow Cab Scheme, 20 thousand vehicles would be distributed among male and female educated youth of the province which would cost Rs. 15 billion.
He said that “Khadim-e-Punjab Yellow Cab Scheme” is a good step towards elimination of unemployment. He said that one lakh computer would be given this year as gift to the talented position holder students of matric, FA, F.Sc, BA, B.Sc examinations.
He was addressing a function marking balloting for “Khadim-e-Punjab Yellow Cab Scheme” in Rawalpindi Monday.
Shahbaz Sharif said President PML-N Nawaz and Punjab government of PML-N had proposed launching of three schemes for jobless youths in new fiscal year and he has initiated Khadim-e-Punjab Yellow Cab Scheme by its balloting in DG Khan, Multan and Rawalpindi. The other schemes would include distribution of computers among talented students and small loans to skilled youth.
The Chief Minister said that if we have to save Quaid’s Pakistan a movement will have to be launched from Peshawar to Karachi for the change of system and not merely change of faces. “The looters of Pakistan should be hanged upside down at Chandni Chowk”, he said.
