POF admin, workers relationship exemplary

Sunday, August 07, 2011 - Wah Cantt—It is the need of the hour that POF workforce should give special attention to the highest standard of products and to lessen the cost of production so that POF could earn foreign exchange for the country and stand on its own feet in the years to come. By the grace of Almighty Allah working relationships between POF administration and workforce are exemplary. I am proud of the workers of POF Gadwal who by enforcing the philosophy of economy and efficiency, not only accomplished their set targets but by manufacturing the products for other units of POF, also saved a huge amount of Rs.94 million.

These views were expressed by Chairman POF Board Lt Gen Shujaat Zamir Dar, HI(M) S.Bt while addressing a grand function arranged by POF Gadwal in order to celebrate the success on completion of targets.

POF Chairman further remarked that the human being is the best creation of God and human mind possesses the best creative faculties and POF Gadwal workers completed their targets by utilizing this creative quality of mind and by dint of day and night hard work. While giving the detail of welfare plans for the employees, POF Chairman said that a residential scheme for POF employees at POF Sanjwal will be launched after the month of Ramzan and provision of best medical facilities at POF Hospital will be ensured. POF Chairman announced an honorarium equal to one-month salary for the employees of POF Gadwal.
