Auspicious time for yeddy..!

Sunday, August 07, 2011 - I’ve just heard that the Chief Minister in India, BS Yeddyurappa has agreed to step down on Sunday afternoon at 1 pm. “Why specifically 1pm sir?” “Very auspicious time 1pm” Now I’ve really started getting worried, I mean we have stretched this auspicious time business already a little too far, we have an auspicious time to become a chief minister, a prime minister, a time to inaugurate a flyover, sometimes waiting days and weeks till that time happens, but I’ve never heard of an auspicious time to step down.
I decided I’d ask a friend who was into these auspicious time forecasts. “What d’you think is the reason Yeddy needs an auspicious time for quitting?” I asked my friend as he studied different charts lying in front of him. “Well, “said my friend, “1 pm is a very auspicious time!” “It must be,” I said impatiently, “Otherwise Yeddy wouldn’t have chosen it, but why for quitting?” “We must understand that he is not quitting!”
“Whoa! Whoa!” I said, “Of course he is quitting!” “No,” said my auspicious forecasts making friend, “He is just moving from one activity of his life to another!” “Simple,” said my friend, looking at a chart fixedly, “he is moving from maker to spender!”
“Ah!” I said. “Ah!” said my friend. “That is an important start!” I agreed. “How many crores?” “Many hundreds,” I said, “From all those mining deals!” “Hundreds of crores has to be spent wisely,” said my friend picking up a chart and staring at it then pointing out two stars on it, look, look, 1pm is a very wise time to start spending activity!”
“You don’t say!” I exclaimed. “Should houses be bought? Palaces? Should he buy a Rolls or a Benz?” “Very significant decisions!” I said, “And ones of great consequence!” “People don’t realize the advantages of auspicious times!” said my friend rolling his sheets into a small roll.” “Obviously Yeddy does,” I said, “Though I wonder what went wrong that his auspicious time when he became the CM did not work out!” “Nothing went wrong!” said my friend. “Why not, he had to quit!”
“He did not choose an auspicious time to remain CM, he chose an auspicious time to….” “Become rich!” I completed as my friend beamed at me happily and said, “You will be a good astrologer Bob..!”.
