Six militants killed in N WA drone strike

Wednesday, July 06, 2011 - North Waziristan—Six suspected militants were killed and several others were injured in a US drone strike in the Mir Ali area of North Waziristan on Tuesday .
Sources said that the drone strike had targeted a house in Hurmaz area, Tehsil Mir Ali of North Waziristan.
More than ten people are believed to have been present in the house at the time of attack.
Locals pulled out the bodies from rubble and shifted the injured to hospital. The identity of the victims could not be immediately knpwn and casualties are expected to rise as the injured are said to be in critical condition.
