Dengue in Thar under control


Mithi—District Health Officer (DHO) Tharparker, Dr. Chander Kumar on Tuesday claimed that dengue was under control in the district and scores of cases out of 55 diagnosed patients has been cured successfully so far. While talking to APP he said a separate ward has been set up at civil hospital Mithi where patients badly affected from dengue fever were being given medical treatment while free tests of dengue were also being conducted at the government hospitals of the district.
It is pertinent to mention that dozens of patients were diagnosed positive for Dengue and Malaria in Mithi, Islamkot and Chachro talukas of the district and 8 patients of different age groups were admitted in the government hospitals in a single day on Monday.—APP
