Mandi Bahauddin—Pakistan ex-Servicemen Society (PESS) delegation led by District Pess President Sher Muhammad Gondal called on Deputy Director District Armed Services Board (DASB) Gujrat Lt Col retired Imtiaz at his office on Thursday to apprise him of problems faced by ex-servicemen, widows of ex-servicemen and martyrs’. Giving detail of the problems the delegation told DDDASB that according to Defense Ministry directions DASB team was required to attend DASB Camp Office Mandi Bahauddin once a week but for some months this was not being done regularly and as a result ex-servicemen and the widows coming to the camp office go back after waiting for the whole day, finding no one to listen their requests. DDDASB, taking cognizance of the problem told that this failing was due to deficiency of the staff. He said he had taken up the case with higher authorities to post two more clerks for placing them at DASB Camp Office M B Din permanently.
