In occupied Kashmir, the member of the so-called Kashmir Assembly, Engineer Rasheed has criticized the Indian authorities for attaching Principal Degree College Pulwama to students’ protests saying that every notorious and repressive measures being taken by the authorities are falling flat miserably.
Engineer Rasheed was interacting with office bearers of various student unions in Srinagar.
He demanded action against police administration Banihal for its brutalities against students.
“It is highly condemnable that rather taking goons of police and other paramilitary forces to task in Pulwama, the authorities have yet again disgraced an upright and honest Kashmiri officer. Every incident proves that nothing is in hands of the so-called civilian government and even the minor decisions are being taken keeping in view the interests of security agencies,” he said.
He said whatsoever happened in Banihal leads to the fact that people of the territory want resolution of Kashmir dispute. Use of force against students in Banihal is unacceptable and if the administration has any seriousness towards its duties it must take stern action against the police administration in Banihal, which is directly under the control of Sang Parivar.—KMS
