Cold, dry weather likely across country


Islamabad—Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) Tuesday forecast mainly cold and dry weather for most parts of the country during the next 24 hours.
However, partly cloudy weather conditions are likely with chances of light rain and snowfall over the hills at isolated places in Malakand division and Gilgit-Baltistan.
Shallow foggy conditions are likely over plain areas of Punjab and upper Sindh during morning hours. According to the synoptic situation, a shallow westerly wave is affecting upper parts of the country and likely to persist during next 24 hours.
The lowest minimum temperatures recorded during the last 24 hours were Skardu -04 C, Kalat -02 C, Gilgit, Astore, Kalam, Quetta and Gupis -01 C.—APP
